Just Mad? Well, Get Glad!

Updated: Mar 10, 2023

Sometimes I'm just out here living a spirit lead life, mad at myself. Mad that I lost something and can't find it. Mad that I'm late, when I'm the one to blame. Mad that I made that judgement call when I should have prayed about it first. mad that my classroom is chaotic, when I allow it to be such. Mad that I waited till the last minute. Just mad.

I don't know who needs to hear this but being made (per.re.uuud) ain't of the spirit! The holy spirit ain't got no time for you to be mad at yourself. Causing discord with yourself, giving yourself high blood pressure. Beating yourself up, causing self doubt, which leads to less confidence and that terrible dark rabbit hole of self pity! Getting so mad, that you are in the car crying. Like come on!! You better give yourself the same grace that you extend elsewhere. The same grace that saved you. The same grace God gives you every day! Don't you call yourself a child of God?

The enemy likes for us to be mad, he will use it to get the best out of you, when you get mad he can spin it. Spin it into self pity real fast! You better be careful who you get mad at. Listen to the spirit and pray for discernment and wise up and grow up, so you can be effective for the kingdom.

Get Glad!

God can't use you if you are MAD!!

Girl, I encourage you today to get unmad with the same panties on! Get Glad!

Show yourself some grace!!

Whew rant over.

That was for me and anybody else that needed to hear it.

My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry." James 1:19 NIV

"In your anger do not sin." Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry." Ephesians 4:26 NIV
