Love Ties It Together

We all want to see the glory of God seen in our life. We all want peace. The issue is there is so much daily that can get us out of peace. It is easy to get up and get our day started and get aggravated. Maybe we stump our toe and get to fussing. That fussing can imprint onto our attitude for the day and carry over to work. We could snap at someone, therefore keeping us out of our love walk.

These are what I call temptations. When you realize how important love is, that is the only thing to call it. We were called to love. First John 4 says that God is love. We are called to live as Jesus did. Jesus was God in the flesh. He walked in love. He saw the glory of God in His life. He saw miracles happen around he that no one had ever seen.

When Jesus went to leave the earth he said this is John 14:12, "Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father." We are suppose to be seeing greater miracles around us then what Jesus did. I'm convinced that we haven't even stepped into the power that is provided to us. So, why haven't we seen this yet. I have been around the move of God. I've heard of some miraculous things happening. If you are like me then you probably want to see more. Want to experience more of the move.

Everyone's season of walk with God is different. You may be a baby in Christ. If you do not agree that there are not babies in Christ, then read your word. Second Corinthians 3:1 talks about infants in Christ. Maybe you are further along then an infant. All the same, we all have temptations to get us out of our love walk. Understanding what love is, is a start to not allowing the enemy take a foot hold into the blessings that God has for you. Into the glory he wants to show you while you here on this earth.

Second Timothy 1:7 says that "We are not given the spirit of fear; but of power, love, and sound mind/self control." Love is what ties it together. To overcome the temptations we need to keep love in our daily, not even daily, but minute walk with God here on earth. That takes self control. That takes initiative in your mind to understand that you don't have to get offended and get out of your love walk. Those temptations are there, yes, but its just a tool that the enemy can take advantage of if you allow him. Galatians 5 talks about how the spirit and the flesh are at war with each other and they cannot work together. If we want the power of God to work in our life we have to start exercising our self control. When we take ourselves under submission to the love of God. I believe we all can start seeing more of God's promises manifested in our daily life's.
